My current talent spec is not the one that I want reviewed, I would like to see what some of you think before I try it.

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#j0xMZotx0AzI0cufsstzxG:0woMV0)

The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&n=Word) is my armory link.

This is the spec I would like to use in 10 man ulduar, It is better then my current spec in my opinion which can be found here: The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Sargeras&cn=Word&gn=Diminishing+Returns)

I would like to thank anybody who takes the time to compare my 2 talent trees posted, Your advice is greatly appreciated as this is my first tanking character. (This is also my first post on this forum, hope I did everything spot on?)

So it would seem to me you want to trade some damage/threat for more AoE control? You want to death grip faster, drop DnD more often, and keep the adds slowed down.

I am not completely familiar with ulduar yet, since our guild has only done the first "quarter," however, I doubt that it gets much different than a tanks duties in Naxx25. I use your current spec and don't have too many issues in naxx. So for me personally I don't think the tradeoff is worth it. Anytime I look to use DnD and can't, is because my runes are on cooldown, not the spell. I also don't require death grip very often, since it's mostly used to taunt or on an initial pull. I definitely don't think Chilblains offers any benefit for add control.

You might say "well that's great, you think your better than me," but I just want to suggest some alternatives. There are other ways to do add control using the abilities we already have as dk tanks. Most of the time I don't use DnD. A simple HB->BB will usually pick up any new groups trying to join the fight.

If Death Grip is down, then it's time to start running and use your taunt instead. That thing is almost never down. (But it does enjoy failing once in a while...)

DPS getting wacked? Perhaps your dps is not on target? Marking adds puts everyone on the same page. Even pro dps needs to know what your killing to prevent picking up threat. (Although if they are really pros they'd know how to use the assist key...)

If you really want to try out the DnD and Death Grip talent, I'd at least skip the Chilblains and put those 3 points and the 2 points
from two-handed back into Bladed Armor to keep the 5 point AP bonus. There's nothing wrong with testing it out.

Oh I also think you should swap your glyphs for some of the more popular tanking ones. Rune Strike, and probably Howling Blast.
