So we have this rule in the guild where clothies get cloth over leather wears... and we have a boomkin that has a real problem with this and says alot of her BiS gear is cloth items... the only back up they have for this is that they talked to another Moonkin on the server.....

SO my question is... is the BiS gear for a Moonkin Cloth in ulduar or is it leather? ether way if the person has the PR should they get the peice or should it go to a warlock/mage?

personally, i would pass on cloth items if a clothie needs it.....they only have cloth

druids have both the option for leather and cloth so they have a higher range of drops to gear up - taking away gear from someone who can only use cloth is just not nice - even if the person were to let the druid take the item in the end it will probably cause some unhappiness especially if the next item that drops is leather

We always let the person decide for themselves.
If people disagreed, they would say so, including a why, in vent. Sometimes, the person needing for the cloth item would agree and bow out, sometimes they'd explain why it was a good upgrade for them.
System worked well.

Face it - most good caster items are cloth (cloth has the most casters, after all), so disallowing casters to need on those items would be unfair.
