View Full Version : Where to from here?

I'm a new tank and this is my 1st toon on WOW, if I knew that tanking was this hard probably would have gone DPS. I am not going to back away now I've put so much effort into tanking and invested so much gold in repairs :D

Anyways, I have been following the Cider's easy 540 Defense Gear Guide which was great I finally had some structure to follow and have got to 544 in defense, and started to be useful in heroics. I now struggling again with where to go now. My guild is not that helpful, they are either doing Naxx or Udlar all the time now and I'm stuck in no mans land. Good enough for Heroics but not for 10 & 25 raids.

Can someone with more knowldge than me (not difficult) please look over my armory The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/search.xml?searchType=items&pr=Caelestrasz&pn=Twostylish&pi=44597)
and give me a idea of where to go next? It would be very much appreciated.

I am also stuugling with trying to go to key bindings instead of clicks, but that has just made everything harder. Is there a basic rotation you can suggest? For keys 1-9? I have found it really confusing and everyone has a different opinion.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward to your comments.

Its a priority system.

Really really helped me when i first started off

also helps a ton with keybindings.
you can find mine in there somewhere.

Uhm. Onto your armory.

You NEED to do hodir dailies for the shoulder enchants.

Put something on your weapon, i'd suggest a weapon chain because you will upgrade it soon *hopefully*
cloak could either have defense or stam on it.
Gloves need 10 parry 2% threat.
Bracers 40 stam since they are good bracers.

Get an eternal belt buckle for your belt and socket that, also get a helm enchant from the argent crusade.
