Hello all,

I am MT for my guild and typically donít have many issues with threat. However, now that our pally and DK OTs are getting better gear I have had a few issues with them passing me on agro. So, I would like to ensure that I am doing all I can to maximize my threat. Would anyone be willing to examine my armory and possibly a wws report to see if I am doing anything wrong? Thank you so much for you time!

Armory: The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Spirestone&n=Silvertusks)
WWS: Wow Web Stats (http://wowwebstats.com/4c5sfpehijh5k)

I have been using a standard spec and trying to reach the soft cap on expertise and hit without losing much EH.

Thanks again!

Well as far as I can see now you need to be hitcapped and your expertise isn't that bad. The exp could stay for now....but get that hit capped, or close. Also I don't know if you where just in pvp for a little and forgot to replace your trinkets.....but if you're doing pve in those...get new ones. Also if you look at your WWS you can see the % of each attack that you're missing, all of that is due to you not being hit capped. When you miss or get dodged or parried by the bosses you don't gain threat from that. I hope that I have helped and here's my armory if you want to look. Granted I'm a dk not a warrior.

Oops, I was PvPing last night. I usually use the JC trinkets. The crab with stam gems and the rabbit one with exp and hit.

I understand that Expertise is important...and I read the article. What about missing though? Expertise doesn't do anything if you're missing your target.....that's where hit comes into play.

Yes, But the effective hit amount from stacking expertise compared to hit is the same once over the dodge cap, remove 1% parry is the same as removing 1% miss, thats what you are failing to understand. And until 26 expertise expertise is equal to 2x the same amount of effective hit.
