Hi, I hit 80 on my dk about 3 days ago and was wondering on some help or advice on gearing strategies/talent specs. I am currently running a blood tank spec, I like it but am having problems with threat in raids.
Spec (http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc.xml?cid=6&tal=2055320000300300000000000000004000000000000000 0000000000005230335000015030051003103100) I suggest this spec because it's easy with my gear I'm rocking an easy 6-7K tps with an easy to follow rotation
With the massive RP Generation I find i can always runestrike when it proc's, using this and keeping UB up you'll be fine, and w/ the pest glyph you never have to reapply IT/PS so you can just spam SS, If someone starts to get close on threat throw down a fresh dnd

If you want to go Unholy, I just made a wall-of-text post on another thread here:
but if not, the "cookie-cutter" blood spec from EJ is something like:
I don't know much about Blood in general though. I know that my threat sucks pretty badly with it atm, so if I go to blood, it will be after I get some upgrades. Good luck.

Are you having problems with single target threat? or AoE threat?
For your blood spec, I'd suggest getting Might of Mograine, because it's very good for your threat. Subversion is also good for the same reason. Epidemic is also good because it means you have to spend less time refreshing your diseases and you can use more threat building abilities in your rotation. You don't really need Black Ice, since most of your damage is physical. Check out my blood spec if you want:
The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Uldum&cn=Pinballwiz&gn=SuperMachoDonkeyWrestler)
Your frost spec looks fine, except that you skipped annihilation, without annihilation you can't use Obliterate as your primary strike, and you're wasting all the good buffs Obliterate gets from the frost tree.
For gear, you're going on the right track, you can probably get rid of that defense gem on your helmet since you're pretty good on defense already. You just need to keep working on avoidance and EH. Since you're having trouble with threat, keep working on expertise and hit rating until you hit at least 26 expertise and around 260 hit rating.
Blood is probably the best for single target threat, but it relies a lot on your ability (and buffs) to do physical damage. Frost offers a good combination of decent single target threat (but not as good as blood) and very good at AoE threat, it also offers some useful talents for damage reduction if you're just getting started with gear.

Imo, either switch to a dps sigil, or lose enough defense that the one you are wearing in your blood spec is worth it.
