View Full Version : Fury Advice - 8.5 vs 7.5 vs other stuff

I have two gear sets I'm having trouble deciding between. I don't trust the numbers test dummies give me so please don't tell me to just go dps a dummy and go by that :P

Inbetween my two "sets" I switch out 3 pieces of gear. My armory currently shows the "new" set I'm having trouble deciding if it'd be worth it.

Set 1:
Helm - Obsidian Greathelm - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44006)
MH - Betrayer of Humanity - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40384)
Ring - Bladebearer's Signet - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45540)

Set 2:
Helm - Valorous Siegebreaker Helmet - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45431)
MH - Inevitable Defeat - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40406)
Ring - Power Enhancing Loop - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45675)

The main reason behind considering this switch is to get the 2pc t8 and t7 bonuses. But putting on the t8 helm to get the t8 2pc will make me go way below the expertise dodge cap. The only way for me to make up this massive expertise chunk without totally regemming expertise is to switch BoH with Inevitable Defeat for the time being. The ring swap is just because with ID I am OVER expertise cap, thus can afford to lose some expertise for ArP.

Thoughts? Doing "Set 2" not only gives me t8 and t7 2pc bonuses, but also gives me 105 more ArP (460 vs 355), 1 more expertise, and 124 more STR. However, I lose 2.3% crit, and the damage of having BoH in my MH.

Am I putting too much value in the t8 2pc? Should I just stick with Set 1 until I have another piece of t8 to get the 4pc bonus?

EDIT: Can view the full gear sets I'd be using here:

Set 2: chardev.org v6 ~ a World of Warcraft character planner (http://www.chardev.org/?template=189456)
Please note I forgot to save these templates in zerker stance.
