Trying to contact an inactive character's owner

I usually try to stay away from posting here when I'm feeling dumb, but I want to ask this:

Is there a legit way to contact an inactive character's owner?
The account is not inactive enough to try a scroll of ressurect. I did try that with high hopes. This is not exceptionaly important, but I would like to pry the name away from them. The realm forums have gotten me nothing but a "GL", and trade chat offers flames, or "use an alternate symbol/character".

Soooo, I thought I'd ask in a friendlier community.

True, not the same, but very interesting. Thank you for that. I was forced to namechange once, and was childish when finding a new name. I feel silly as an Heirbiscuit, and am ready to rid myself of the name. Again, thank you.
