Avoidance diminishing returns

hey guys, since avoidance has diminishing returns now, after having a decent amount of avoidance would it be viable to stack defense. As far as i know defense increases your chance to be missed which has no diminishing return and also decreases the damage you take, on top of that it also increases your parry dodge and block rating so you would still be buffing your avoidance. I dont do any theorycrafting so im not sure on any of the actual figures, im not even sure if the diminishing return on avoidance is significant.

I believe someone did the math and miss also has diminishing returns. But Defense still gives added Block rating if your a class that can block and block rating has no diminishing returns.
