Hey guys I just wanted your opinion . Am I gear ready for ulduar Off tank? I know I do not have the best in slot options. What enchant/talent/gem/gear recommendations would you have for my character.

Thanks in advance

Gear looks pretty healthy to me. I cant comment too much on Prot warrior spec as I am a Feral druid.

FYI though, every fight I have seen so far except maybe Auriya the Offtanks job is considerably more hectic (and important in most cases too) then the MT's job. So be ready to play like a champion ;)

Being the MT has left me feeling like I should be doing more for the raid so far in Ulduar... That said, switching to cat on XT's heart to go nuts for a bit is pretty fun and feels like a solid contribution.

Your gearing looks pretty much spot on for an EH set Pious. Only thing I can recommend is especially as an OT, make sure to carry multiple sets and tune your gear (and spec) to the encounter. For example, if you're off-tanking adds on deconstructor, you probably want to have more of an avoidance set as they don't necessarily hit particularly hard (at least on 10-man) and its more about reducing the overall dmg intake to put less strain on the healers than it is about avoiding 1-2 massive attacks that can insta-gib you. Conversely on Auriya, the OT may consider an EH set to withstand the initial burst of a panther charge on the pull (though avoidance is also viable for that if you can withstand the initial burst).

It's really all about flexibility and knowing when to specialize and what to balance. Imo, I would say even when you're in avoidance gear, try and stay above 40k raid buffed if you could. Too many bosses/mobs hit for 30-35k+ with some attacks so that would give you a good base cushion.

Kinda wonder the same here as Pious said "Hey guys I just wanted your opinion . Am I gear ready for ulduar Off tank? I know I do not have the best in slot options. What enchant/talent/gem/gear recommendations would you have for my character.
