Since as MT, I never am called upon to DPS in a raid (I had a pimp DPS set in BC and never got to use it once in a 25-man), I am going with two Prot spec setups...
Max Threat/Trash - For bosses that don't hit that hard, or where threat is most important, and farm content. Also for tanking trash, or adds in fights like Razorscale.

Glyphs: Vigilance, Blocking, Shockwave
-Basically the spec I went with in pre-Ulduar raiding. Massive threat spec, while still picking up all the best surival talents.
-Vigilance and Blocking are the top threat glyphs. And Shockwave glyph reduces its cooldown by 3 sec., which will be nice for trash.
Max Survivability - For bosses that hurt, most progression bosses.

Glyphs: Last Stand, Shield Wall, Blocking
-Drops Improved Heroic Strike, Improved Charge, Impale, Deep Wounds, and Improved Revenge... to pick up Improved Demo Shout, Commanding Presence, and Improved Disciplines. Assuming the info about Maexxna AP (LINK (http://www.tankspot.com/forums/f14/42342-level-80-boss-ap.html)) applies to all bosses, Improved Demo will reduce incoming melee damage by about 4.5% I calculated, equal to about 1,850 extra armor. And Commanding Presence gives me and everyone around me an extra 564 hp.... not bad for me, but also good for the raid in fights with a lot of collateral damage, which are many. I estimate I will lose about 5-10% threat in the exchange, so it's not for every fight. Just against the biggest and meanest bosses.
-With Shield Wall talented and it and Last Stand glyphed, I'll have a 2 min. cooldown on both. Will enable me to use them multiple times in boss fights, if needed. Very nice. Since there are no other surivability glyphs, I went with Blocking. It adds a little bit of mitigation, along with a nice threat buff through Shield Slam damage.
