Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sVZaxVA0uMteIRGoxd) I use this build... though it's really personal preference. the jursuit of justice can be nice for the speed boost and disarm duration reduction (though a weapon chain works just as well if your overcapped on def), the additional 3 into divine guardian and heart of the crusader are probably a good choice if you dont take the 5 in seals of the pure.

Looks good to me :)

divine guardian can be good in some situations, when there's a lot of raid AoE damage. Its more in line with a Maly/Sarth+ OT build than a main tank build. You only really need 1 point in improved judgement so you can move 1 point somewhere else. If you don't run with a ret pally, then getting improved might wouldn't be bad. If you do run with a ret pally, your points in crusader won't stack with his on boss fights.

Also, if you do run with another pally be it holy or ret, make them take kings instead of you. With the MT having kings then the most important person to stay alive has to chose betweent he stats or the dmg reduction...it took me a few weeks or arguing with our holy paladins and myself refusing to do so, finally decided I wouldn't raid any longer until one did so, when they realized I was serious and the raid had been waiting 5 minutes one went and respecced. Not saying that is the best way but they would refuse for the sole argument of whoever takes kings will fall behind on the wws....
There had been no ret pally that raided with us

I use this:

I take 2/3 in to improved HoJ because I like being able to interrupt more than once every 60 seconds.

Yes I take kings, as I beleive most prot pallies should. If you have one that raids, your ret pally should be taking kings, not holy pallies. Holy paladins have tons of useful places for all their talent points, and have to gimp them selves out of 3% crit to get kings. Rets can take every damage increasing ability possible and still have lots of points left over for kings.

I agree with Akeber, the ret paladin should be picking up kings if one is available, over a holy pally. Though to be honest, for a pure MT build, there aren't a whole lot of places where you could put the points not going into kings.

Its a moot point though, as all paladins get to learn kings with no talent usage in 3.1.

I agree there really arent a lot of places to put points to move down the tree, however my point is more based on the tank having both BoS and kings, where as being the only prot pally if I was in charge of both kings/sanct I would be going without. Just glad kings will be trainable to avoid the issue come 3.1 and not have to listen to pugs bitch about a pally not having kings

I target a OT-spec for raids, obviously i can MT too, raids and heróics...
