Hi, all! I've noticed that I'm not putting out as much threat as I would like to or maybe I SHOULD be >.< I was wondering if you could check my spec, gear, gems and enchants as well as stats and tell me what I've got incorrectly. This is my armory page: The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Mug%27thol&n=Pinkhearts)

As well as the following, I was also wondering whether I should get expertise capped? And, how about hit? Thank you so much!

Love,
Mary

Gear
On your chest - Enchant Chest - Greater Defense - Spell - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=47766)
On your weapon - Formula: Enchant Weapon - Accuracy - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44496)
On your shield - Titanium Plating - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44936) or Enchant Shield - Defense - Spell - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=44489)
You could swap one trinket over to Seal of the Pantheon - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=36993), which is from normal Halls of Lightning. This would let you free up some gems for other avoidance stats or hp.

Spec
I'd recommend respeccing to Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sVZaxVAbuMteIRGoxo)
Most common raiding Prot spec out there.

Glyphs
Glyph of Righteous Defense - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41100)
Glyph of Judgement - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41092)
Glyph of Seal of Vengeance - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43869)

Make sure you're running with Seal of Corruption on, as it will give you a free 10 expertise.

The only minor one I'd highly recommend is Glyph of Sense Undead - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43368). The rest are personal taste.

Rotation
6969. Hands down, best way to get max threat.

The basics behind 6969 rotation is that ShoR and HotR are both 6 second cooldowns, with your other 3 main abilities, Cons Judge and HS, being 9 seconds or there abouts.

Without the other spells inbetween it looks something like this:
(Shor) _____ (HotR) _____(Shor) _____ (HotR) _____

With the other spells:
Judge (ShoR) HS (HotR) Consc (ShoR) Judge (HotR) HS (ShoR) Consc (HotR) ...

Expertise & Hit
Expertise will affect white damage and HotR attacks.
While it may not sound like much, if you are expertise capped you will take less damage, do more dps and put out a bit more threat.
Reason being is that the boss is not dodging and parrying your white/HotR attacks.

Hit affects everything. I've been told you will get spell hit capped before you get melee hit capped. Melee hit cap is 8%. I'd highly recommend getting this, as it reduces the misses on all your attacks and taunts.

Yea, switch the Hammer of Justice points into Devotion Aura which will up your mitigation. Then swap a couple of stam/dodge gems for strength. Hit/expertise rating advice above is also good (get recount to see how much you miss now).

What consumeables are you using? Mighty Strength (+50 strength) and Dalaran Clam Chowder (+65 AP +35SP) are probably your best for threat right now.

I would definitely look into re-spec'ing a bit. I myself prefer to have PoJ (Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sZ0eVAbuMteIRGoEo00b)) because it helps me get to that mob a bit quicker and just in general makes our runs go a bit smoother, but again I believe the 5/60/6 to be just as good a build putting two point into imp judgements is a waste of a point (you just need one there) and better spent elsewhere like maybe imp devo. Using our 969 rotation is our bread and butter I find sticking to it I almost never have an issue with threat, only on loatheb when someone pops a spore on me do I have threat issues. You also put the 2% threat enchant on your gloves as well but as long as you are keeping up holy shield, and righteous fury, dropping a consecrate as well can't hurt. Stick with the 969 rotation faithfully and you should be ok.
