If you could have any mount you wanted, from any event - achievement - rare drop etc., which would you choose?

There are a lot of great ones out there, but for looks alone I have to go with the Plauged Proto-Drake, which you get for completing all the 10-Man Raid Achievements.

the wrath mounts are ugly. Proto drakes look like drakes from a blender IMO. Making them black and scary colored doesn't change the fact that they look like blender drakes. I'd want a White hordie wolf for my NE though. Everyone would ask how I got one and i'd say it dropped from RFK. Then I'd wait 20 minutes and do a /who of the people in RFK. ;)

I know what you mean. I started catching mount fever after my undead holy priest won her White Hawkstrider first run in Magister's.

There was something awesome about running around in all white healing gear on a white hawkstrider that just felt right.

I'd be ok with any proto-drake. Their stubby T-rex arm like wings are just awesome imo. Feels very prehistoric. Then all I would need to complete the look is some sort of fur lined boots and bracers.

I saw a scarab lord riding around on his battle tank in Dalaran the other day. I think it's the only time I've really felt awe at what someone else has done in what is after all... just a game.
