So this is my take on the currently hardest encounter in wotlk.
Let's throw down some facts
The auras:
Power of Tenebron: +100% shadow damage taken
Power of Shadron: +100% fire damage taken
Power of Vesperon: -25% health
And the debuffs:
Disciple of Shadron: +50% fire damage
Disciple of Vesperon: Twilight Torment: 2-3k damage taken when you deal damage; +75% damage from Sartharion's breath
And what those will cause on the Fire breath:
Power of Shadron: 22k-28k
Acolyte of Shadron: 33k-42k
Twilight Torment: 57k-74k
These are the priority of tanks:
MT: DK < Druid < Warrior < Paladin (48-50k Druid is prefered over DK)
Drakes: Druid < Warrior < DK < Paladin (Doesn't mather that much)
Adds: Paladin < DK < Warrior < Druid
The 2 general things that everyone should handle is to dodge the Lava waves and step out of Shadow fissures.
The one tanking adds should keep the adds away from lava waves so they do not enrage.
The one tanking the drakes should stand parallell to the main tank.
With his back against a region where there will not come any lava waves, and be quick to move the drakes away when the lava waves comes from the other side.
Bare in mind to always face the drakes away from the rest of the group due to breaths.
The main tank needs to know how to dance and need to have alot of cooldowns, therefore dk is prefered.
Anti-Magic Shell (http://www.wowwiki.com/Anti-Magic_Shell), Icebound Fortitude (http://www.wowwiki.com/Icebound_Fortitude), Anti-Magic Zone (http://www.wowwiki.com/Anti-Magic_Zone),Bone Shield (http://www.wowwiki.com/Bone_Shield)
However a druid with 48k+ hp could tank a wave where he fails to dance so that's a safecard too.
Survival Instincts (http://www.wowwiki.com/Survival_Instincts_%28druid_ability%29), The New Tailor Made Servers: Dedicated Servers Done Right. For You. (http://Barkskin)
Warrior works well but is not prefered.
Last Stand (http://www.wowwiki.com/Last_Stand), Shield Wall (http://www.wowwiki.com/Shield_Wall)
Paladin should be on the Off tanking.
Additional spells that would help when the breath is incomming:
-Hand of Sacrifice from a paladin
-Roar of Sacrifice from a Hunters Tenacity Pet
-Power word: Shield from priests
However it doesn't really mather how many cooldowns you got if you can't dance.
The Dance
-So how do you see when to dance?
You dont, this is a bug by blizzard it was intended to be shown as a debuff, which it is not. However you can see the effect the debuff does, when you are afflicted by Twilight torment (which have to be removed before getting hit by a breath from Sartharion or he'll one hit you) you will take damage when hitting him, when you do hit him the debuff is removed for 1-2 seconds.
-What do I do to remove it then?
well duuh.. as I explained the debuff is removed by hitting, but only for 1-2 seconds. So when you see that you got the debuff stop hitting until his next breath will arrive, when there is less than 1 second left for it to land you hit him with an instant strike to remove the debuff. This will differ the breath's damage by alot, enough to keep you alive.
-So when do I drag my ass from the wall and start to dance?
When the 2nd drake lands Sartharion will get a Shadow bubble surronding himself, this is your queue as the breaths will increase in damage then. When the 2nd is dead, you can step off the dance floor and hit the bar cause there will be epixx.
Furthermore the boss is tauntable so if you cannot get the setup for it, you could always have a tank pull his cd's then switch main tank and let him pull his cd's.
A usefull movie to understand the specifics:
