simple question about mages

My workmate had a question about getting his hit rating up on his mage and I was wondering if there was a site kinda like this that helps with mages or if anyone knew a good place to ask without getting "lawl" or "lrn 2 ply".

Not about tnaking so I figured this would be the right place to stick this thread.
