Last night after several wipes on patchwerk we gave up and went to razuv after we got him we went to noth and one shotted him. probably going to be returning to patches tonight for round 2. followed cider's strat, but healers couldnt keep tanks up and complained that we didnt have enough mitigation for the damage they were dealing. both of our tanks are defense capped and wearing heroic and crafted gear. any suggestions?

Put your best geared tank as primary OT, your second best geared tank as secondary OT, and your third tank as MT. What I mean by this, is put who has the most avoidance as your first OT. I was running last night with about 30% dodge, 19% parry for this and I still had to alternate CD's. SB -> Moroes -> Valor Medal -> SB. Keep those up as much as possible. Last stand at your discresion, and at 7ish % use SW.

For next reset I will use the Last Stand Glyph to try it out. 2 Last stands during this fight I believe would be awsome. One at the begining and one at the end.

Also, 2 healers should be sufficient on the MT, 3 on the first OT, and 2 on the second OT. This is assuming you have 7 in the raid.

That's not a lot of information. Can you link your tanks armory?

slightly hard to take a look, as your pally friend didn't log out in his tanking gear! atleast i hope that's not it! lol.

you've got just over 25-26k health, and 23.5k armor in frost, i'm assuming. if he has more HP and more armor in his tanking set, he might be a better hateful tank then you.

supposedly on a partialy naxx geared tank hatefull hits for about 7k. we have a partialy naxx geared druid tank getting hit for about 7-8k and his armor value is very very close to yours.

the one thing i could possibly recomend... drop a DPS and bring another healer. have the healers cast dot's on occasion to help DPS. if you have any player in your raid who's not capable of 1800+ DPS they're holding you back with that raid setup ( 3 healers, and two tanks) as you need just over 12k raid dps, and it's assumed tanks do ATLEAST 1k each ( my warrior MT does about 1670 dps on patch)

gee.. i tend to ramble at 9:30 in the morning when i havn't gone to sleep yet.. oh boy. anyways, if there's alot of incoming dmg and you have strong DPS sub a dps for another healer and you should be golden.

oh, and all the info i gave, was for doing a 10 man group :) my guild did that today, and got him first attempt.
