You'll know who I am in Heaven. I'll be the one screaming "I told you so!" at the top of my lungs.

In before the end of the world.

I can picture the guy responsible for throwing the switch now...

"Can I get a SoulStone?"

although it theoredically will be able to create 'micro black holes' that will vaporize themselves almost instantly... gotta call that cool.

although, it cant blow up the world, this kinda collision that it will be replicating happens alot in nature, we usually dont have billions of dollars of test equipment to veiw the results, so the super collider will just help us out alot.

I cant wait to see what we will learn... pass the popcorn and the soulstone please!

And it seems to have gone without a hitch.

Not supposed to collide anything until next month and then not at full power for some more months after that. Probably don't need full scale power/collisions to test out the machines make sure they are working properly.

This is kind of a let down because the pizza I had last night would have been a fine last meal.

So i had to ask Chat what LHC was, cuz when i first read this thread, i thought Light's Hope Chapel was gonna be the cause of the apocalypse.

I wish I had screenshotted that :(

So, who's up for an end-of-the-world party (http://www.news.com.au/technology/story/0,25642,24324047-5014239,00.html) when they do collide stuff for real?

Edit: Added tabloid news link

It can't be all that bad.....I mean if the world blows up we'll still have Zangarmarsh and Nagrand, right?

I will use my spell reflect option thus cancelling out the blackhole. We shall all be saved and I will be rewarded with a harem of beautiful ladies. ......

I am sorry, Max. The effect that Spell Reflect has on black holes was removed in patch 2008.7.29

On a side note...Paladins are still able to "bubble" through the resulting black hole.

You know I never heard of this until today. Looking back yesterday I could have gone to bed and never woke up bc there happened to be a 0.0001 % chance a blackhole would have swallowed us all up.

But hey I'm alive to day but remember they haven't collided any particles yet :), and if it was so safe why is it so deep underground? I'll be just happy if it only took out france tho lol

A.) there's no where to hearth to

B.) its worse than a facerolling, pimple faced undead rogue waiting for you when it goes down.
