So like many of you ...I have been playing with the talent calculators on Wowhead and this is what I came up with for my first try.

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft (http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=LA0hzAboZVV0VxxRVubxoh) I call it the 28/43 Bruci slasher build

Notice the maxed out 2 hander specialization. I would ASSume that this talent works with 2 handers regardless if you are dual wielding or not... right? This is also a situation the faster Whirlwind may be useful.

Tell me how much you hate this build...any thoughts?

I cannot see not putting the points in the new threat reducer, especially with what I have heard about salv being thrown out the window.

I dunno, the instant slam looks tasty imo...

Go arena or something Kaz, Fury PVE slam sounds about as easy as 7th layer trigonometry, think I will pass kkthxbye

He's talking about Bloodsurge - Spell - World of Warcraft (http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?spell=46915). However I wouldn't like to try to weave Imp. Slams in a DW rotation because swing timer mods don't work when you dual wield, and trying to time it manually sounds like as much fun as running naked up a hill in a snowstorm.

This is what I came up with. I still dont like it though. I wish they would switch back DW and SS.

Titan's Grip with two equal-speed slow weapons could allow you to Imp Slam, but it would be too limiting to be a "cookie-cutter" spec.

I'm thinking this would be fun:

Acording the the WotLK discussion on Elitist Jerks, Sudden Death currently allows you to execute for the next 5 seconds after it procs. With 2x 1.5 speed Axes and a lot of haste and crit gear I might be able to get a lot of uptime on it and while it's down I'd just dps like I normally do on live. I greatly enjoy the current fury playstyle and titan's grip seems a little silly to me.

I might move a point from Poleaxe Specialization into Furious Resolve for the extra 3% threat reduction, though. I like sweeping strikes too much to let it go.

Still doesn't make casted slam a good idea for dual wielding.

But with the new talent, that gives you a free slam, it says it grants you an instant slam, so it becomes another bloodthirst type ability, you don't even have to spec imp slam for it, just hit it whenever it pops up, and if the instant slam isn't normalized the way regular slam isn't (i don't see how they could code it otherwise) then it'll hit harder than just about every ability we have besides maybe BT?

The only question is, will hitting an instant-cast slam really be instant, or will it be 0.00001sec with a cast bar that appears briefly and resets your swingtimer?

I hope not, but I've seen stranger/hackier things done. If the immediate slam doesn't reset your swing timer, then it's certainly worth getting. If it does reset it, then it's fail.

will resetting your swing timer while dual wielding really hurt as bad though? slam is gonna hit like a dump truck.

It depends on the speed of your weapons. If you're swinging 3.6spd two-handers with 1/5 Titan's Grip, then yeah...it will hurt a bit. Not as much as slamming with 0.3secs left on your timer with a pve arms build, but still.

Has anyone considered that this is blizzard's way of destroying cookie cutter builds? There seems to be no way to get every talent everyone wants, so people are going to have to make more personalized talents.....and maybe bring some individuality to another aspect of the game.....

I think if someone can seriously design a mod to watch MH swings only (i've heard LD_50 can do it) then getting the insta slam would be great to just wait for it to fire then BOOM slam. I dunno, I think the prospects of big slams are too good to pass up for me, I might have to take that talent, even if just 1 point in it.

LD_50 has accurate bars for both hands.

25/46 (Axe) for personal dps. Without Titan grip.
Going for Sudden death isnt as good as more fury stuff. Heroic striking more is a good enough rage dump, execute isnt really much better, especially as HS damage is increased a LOT in WotLK.

32/39 for raid dps (Blood frenzy spec). Get Bloodthirst instead of MS.

Also interesting:
17/46/8, Incite instead of weapon spec, and spam the Heroic Strikes!

34/37 - Axe and sword spec, anytime executes. Do offhand sword spec procs proc MH attacks? If so this seems like it might be pretty strong? If the execute talent turns out to be not worth it, could easily move those 3 points to imp zerker stance or blood frenzy

Imagine how nice it will be to raid with 5 different warriors, because they all bring something different to the raid......
