Spell reflect rocks on Hyjal trash. I always knew it was an awesome ability but I didn't know how good it was until I started reflecting the initial pull in Hyjal. The pally and I are able to weave consecrates and spell reflect for some amazing results.
Heres the initial spell reflect I got on wave 7 (I think?) of Algalor trash (07/10):
Code:
03:37'07.637 Shadowy Necromancer's Death misses Shadowy Necromancer
03:37'36.888 Shadowy Necromancer's Shadow Bolt hits Shadowy Necromancer for 3672 Shadow damage
03:37'37.045 Shadowy Necromancer's Shadow Bolt hits Shadowy Necromancer for 3728 Shadow damage
03:37'37.366 Shadowy Necromancer's Shadow Bolt hits Shadowy Necromancer for 3638 Shadow damage
03:37'37.616 Shadowy Necromancer's Shadow Bolt hits Shadowy Necromancer for 3991 Shadow damage
03:37'37.710 Shadowy Necromancer's Shadow Bolt hits Shadowy Necromancer for 3460 Shadow damage
03:37'37.935 Shadowy Necromancer's Shadow Bolt hits Shadowy Necromancer for 3658 Shadow damage
About 22,000 damage (not to mention, threat) in 1 second. Pretty fun. Thats 22k damage that would otherwise gib a lone tank.
The problem would be their follow up Shadow Bolts. I think you can intervene out of range if your fast enough =)
I could theoretically reflect all 6 banshee casts too, but it's a bit tricky. Banshee Wail can also be reflected, although it's a bit less predictable. They seem to want to melee more often then the Necros. I wonder if I can reflect the debuff? Gargoyles strike (forgot name) can also be reflected.
In the previous Hyjal raid (06/27), total spell reflect damage was over 350k and im not even that good at it.
Shadowy Necromancer - WWS (http://wowwebstats.com/2u4aunq3scrgq?a=55#break)
It shows up in WWS as Shadowy Necromancer attacking Shadowy Necromancer. They were the number two target of overall damage. They did more damage to themselves then they did to the pally tank
