Odd parry on Magtheridon

I was tanking Magtheridon tonight. As far as I know, I was far ahead on the threat meter during the whole encounter. At one point, an enhancement shaman named Groumph got bounced up in front of Magtheridon and was killed by a swing. Not a cleave. It was odd. Right before that swing by Magtheridon on Groumph, Groumph had his swing parried by Magtheridon. I was under the assumption that parries resulted in faster attack speeds against the tank. I didn't think it resulted in an attack on the person that got parried. Any ideas? I've provided the combat log extract as well as a link to the full combat log as well.

Was the enhancement shammy using Blessing of Salvation? ^_^

Is it possible you got bounced into a wall and therefore "out of reach" of maggy. I've never heard of it on maggy but I think it's possible on other encounters to get "stuck" for a second somewhere where they cant hit you and then they turn to the second highest on agro list???

Sounds pretty reasonable. The mob will hit anything in melee range if the highest threat target is outside and the mob itself is rooted in some way.
