I'm looking to improve myself on each Teron Kill we get, yet for some reason (maybe its loss of my buffs - Sham Dies, Druid Dies) but I just can't seem to break 1.2k TPS on him atm. Came close last night with..

For that fight I had - 2nd Prot for BS (Synk), Resto Sham (Dirt) [Sadly no Enhance Sham has logged in for awhile] and Feral Druid (Deez), on the attempt he died, both Dirt/Deez died fairly early so that might be some of it, but for those that are effectively breaking higher numbers you have any tips?

Also, would putting a Ret Pally in my group just for the party buff add to my TPS at all or not worth it. If i was to stack a group for the one fight I can Epeen for lol.

Btw this is my Armory - The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Hyjal&n=Steak%C3%BCms) - I'm not in my Teron Gear but I'm hit capped, Softcapped Expertise and have around 800 SBV in my Teron set. I'll try and log out in it later today.

First, keep in mind those are hits with the abilities - not total attacks.

You have 35 revenges, 37 devastates, and 30 shield slams attempted, which means you're using 153 seconds worth of GCD out of a 279 fight time (4'39" seems a bit long for Teron - did you get stuck in combat until the ghosts all faded or something?). Given that you have 78 heroics and 103 autoattacks, you're running ~43% heroic strikes. So you're not completely overkilling it, but you may want to scale that down a bit and use more of your rage on your main rotation. It looks like you're really close to expertise capped, and at the hit cap, so you do have to be worried about over-burning on heroic strike. I know I do that myself if I'm not really careful, and having high-accuracy just compounds the problem.

And also - a ret paladin is +2% non-holy damage. A BM hunter is +3%. Use the hunter if you want one more threat booster. ;)

your rotation doesn't seem to be very tight (unless you got a bunch of parries, i can't view wws from work) but for 279 seconds you should be at ~46 SS/rev and 92 dev's. try to work in more heroic strikes, and less thunder claps. if incoming damage is too high, get the other warrior to tclap and demo for you.

Doesn't seem logical to lower dps even of a prottie to be in Battle stance to TC when I can do it.

With my Teron Gear on (Item rack set) I have 27 Expertise (6.75% Parry/Dodge) I have 149 Hit (yes i know 7 rating over) 623 SBlock Value, 22.39% Dodge, 17.04% Parry and 33.53% Block. 17440 Armor (All unbuffed Stats).

I'll work on tightening my rotation, and will think about adding a BM hunter for next attempt..it's either that or i steal another Shammy for GoA lol. *shrugs*

Also, my trinkets i use are Styleen's Scarab and Moroe's Pocket Watch (for his burst damage)

Also, what happened to the post that was posted Teron TPS?

I put a shaman into my group for these dps races ... as you just know someone will mess up. Windfury will push your threat through the ceiling (and keep your rotation going).

Sure, if you are close to the expertise cap.

I guess its not hard to get there anymore though.

While we're on the topic of Gorefiend, my TPS is usually around 800 on raid bosses in BT/Hyjal(Yes its low), I need to raise it for Gorefiend. I usually try to go SS --> Revenge --> Devistate ---> Heroic Strike till SS is off CD. Any tips?

Ah, but as I found out, pressing buttons really quick will eventually have everything on CD, it may be fine if you're not rage starved but if you are, then what are you supposed to do.

You should probably read the thread, since I answer a ton of questions in it, and go over the correct prioritization of abilities, and when not to use things. If you're content being a 600 TPS benchwarmer, then disregard.

Yeah, read the thread, it's worth it. I had been tanking for almost 3 years when I read the thread and still was able to pick out things in it to improve my gameplay.

Yep, I read it. Hardest part is I'm a clicker. :(

Never too late to learn keybindings. Macros and keybindings are your friends.

Start out practicing outside of raid for a week on just open world mobs. Then maybe do some 5 mans and pretty soon you will be using it in raids.

In the past we had a issue with former MT that was a clicker and couldn't handle fear dancing on Archimonde given some latency issues. I don't know if you have done Illidari Council and tanked Gathios yet, but fights like those all get easier with keybinds you can hit while you move constantly. I'm finding out Illidan requires some movement and keybinds are helping me out tremendously.

I suppose you can click macros really fast; but if you can improve your tanking why not try? ;)
