View Full Version : Raid Buffed to How Much?
Instead of annoying everyone in the chatbox I figured I would post here for an answer. I have now been told by 3 different people, 2 of which I respect from this site, that a melee warrior can hit over 5000 AP raid buffed. For the life of me I cannot find the gear arrangement or buffs that would accomplish this. If someone would please show me the gear and explain the buffs that would accomplish this I would be very appreciative. Thank you in advance.

If you socketed all strength, used two AP trinkets, the SSO neck, the CoT ring, and an Insane Strength potion, sure you could hit that for a few seconds.

I was in shoutbox when tatt first asked this and we plugged in gear from t6 and even with what we figured, there was nothing that broke 3.6k.
After you left Kaz I put in SW gear, both trinkets with AP and AP procs, SSO neck with proc, all 10 str gems in every socket, every buff you could get, and even with every proc and windfury going I could not find the math to break 4500.

70 Tauren Warrior (http://www.warcrafter.net/sandbox/76696)
add in the following buffs:
Imp SoE totem
Flask of Relentless Assault
Zerker's Call buff
4743 AP. And there's still the matter of the other trinket slot, which shard of contempt (230 AP proc) would be just under 5k. If you go with the blackened naaru sliver proc fully charged (not available in warcrafter hence it's left off), that's 440 more AP.

i normally don't add windfury buff because the AP the WF attack gives doesn't get added to your char's in-game stat sheet when it procs, but warcrafter just adds it to the AP you see at the top of the page, so it's a bit misleading.

Im breaking 4k right now, so I would only assume it is possible to hit 5k with the right combo.
OK so warcrafter has proven it technically possible, now who gets the cookie for gettine me a screenshot? Gimme something to drool over :)

Also maybe if you have another warrior in your group who has solarions saph on replace the BS with a slightly better one

You can do it, but it relies on having a lot of procs up at once, fulls buffs, and an enhancement shaman.
