Professions for tanks Sunwell

As we are starting our progression through SW I have seen many tanks level LW as one the professions. Is there a particular reason, I am assuming is to benefit from "drums". Sorry if questions has already been answered was re-thinking my professions at the moment and want to be able to maximize my role as an OT through our Sunwell progression.

I've been debating dropping mining (I'm not leveling BSing again!) for Leatherworking. My alt is an herber/skinner, so I could make gold from her, but yeah. A lot of my guild has switched to Leatherworking, and chain-drumming has helped a lot with our DPS in Sunwell, and on farm content.
