Hit cap, how important ?

Hello all,
Ive read a few posts about hit rating and expertise on this site. my question is , how important is it? secondly, how can you balance max. health/mitigation while still increasing your threat. here is my armory link: The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shadowmoon&n=Morderus)

Right now I can easily maintain 900+ TPS, which keeps me ahead pretty easy. However, im guessing the DPS will catch me as their gear gets better.

Thanks in advance on any advise/comments. Great site here, it has been a staple of my daily reading for a long time.

As a tank, Expertise is the most important +hit-type stat you can have because it reduces your parry-gibs (having your attacks get parried increases target swing time, sometimes causing an instant double-hit on you).
