I'm curious since I'm next up for praetorians.

Sunguard. 23 Expertise trumps 15 stam and some hit. I think Sunguard even has a slight avoidance edge.
They dropped... I passed to the MS warrior :P

Personally I want them for the extra +hit and +parry.

The avoidance evens itself out from what I can tell.
Its the extra HP and hit v. Expertise pretty much.
I'm impartial to the Sunguard's as well, but how do I convince my GM to swipe some 15 stams for it, he wants me to save the 15 stams for praets, lol

You can throw T6 in there for a pretty little comparison.
Assuming you socket with 15 stam gems for simplicity.
T6 - 4.559 avoidance, 93 Stamina 42 block value (and an extra 101 armour)
Praet - 3.668 avoidance 120 Stamina 18 hit rating
Sunguard - 4.027 avoidance 108 Stamina 23 expertise
T6 for avoidance (even better with a 10 dodge gem), Praet for max stam, Sunguard for most balanced between threat, stamina, and avoidance.
