Str or Crit Gem

i armory a lot of top warrior from

WWS Scoreboard (http://www.wwsscoreboard.com/topdps.php?class=Warrior)

mostly are gemming for crit

is there any particular reason i missed ??? maxdps.com stats that str gem is superior

I'm not sure but +str increases your base damage, crit is a damage multiplier.

At some point the multiplier is probable > increase to base, I mean that the increase in damage from +8 crit rating > +8 str

I'm just not sure at what point/gear that happens.

4000AP fully buffed, crit will begin to scale faster than AP. Prior to that however, I don't see Crit outscaling AP at all unless the person doesn't have enough crit to keep flurry up most of the time. Likewise, I don't see how you could hit 4000AP fully buffed without gemming for str.
