mag and demo shout

I saw Mag for the first time on Monday and something very unusual happened. I never saw my demo shout appear as a debuff icon on the boss. After the attempt I asked the other warriors in the raid about it, and they all had been trying to put up demo shout as well. Going back over the WWS parse it appears that Mag got the debuff. Is this a bug? The only times I've not seen that icon go up is when the boss was immuned/silencing.

Doesn't the lock curse of weakness (or the improved version) block demo shout from landing?

Hmmm the locks said they were gonna try some different curses...

Iv experienced the same thing, however only one lock doing CoE, so unlikely to be that, would be intrigued to understand though.
