I currently have Panzar'Thar Breastplate (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28597)

I have read a few things saying Chestplate of Stoicism (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34939) is good, but not that exciting. At first I was all about getting this chest, but now I am unsure.

I already have Girdle of the Fearless (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34941) and Unwavering Legguards (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33515). I also have Vengeful Gladiator's Plate Chestpiece (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33728), which I hear is good for tanking if gemmed with stamina. Currently it is my dps chest with str/ap gems.

So, are my 100 badges worth it for the extra armor, defense, and dodge from the Chestplate of Stoicism? Should I just wait for a drop (or use S3) and use the badges for something else?

currently 5/6 ssc, 3/4 tk. Hopefully will be moving into MH soon.

I am pretty sure I would pick up the chest before the leggings. The only other real badge option that I don't see in your armory is the tank ring which is a pretty sweet EH ring as well but given that you have the Tirisfal ring and I assume the exalted VE ring it wouldn't be a huge upgrade either.

I personally love the Chestplate right now because the defense allows me to gear with a lot more flexability. I am able to wear pieces of gear with out defense and not go under 490 defense.

Yes, I have the VE exalted ring, and the Stamina trinket from heroic MrT, and the Eng gun with 15 stamina gem. Just to list a few other things I wear during boss fights.

I just did that upgrade myself. Stams not much different but lil armor gain and some flexibility with the extra stats is very nice. I had over 300 badges banked so it was an easy choice for me. I might of waited if badges were in short supply and I had my eye on something else. My Panzar has tanked everything from The Horseman thru Illidan Council, so my advice would be to look at what your gaining with the new item in combination with your other gear and go from there. I have found that the items with stats to be very valuable for tweaking my gear for each fight, especially at the higher instance levels.

Given unlimited badges, get the Chest.

If you dont have enough badges, its probably a lower priority than some other badge items, but given that you already have belt and legs, its probably a current target. Especially over a Panzarthar!

The chest is about as good as T5.

Just like the others said - get the chest.

What other things would you spend the badges on? I'd get it before I got gems, but I think the chest is better for you than the legs or the ring.

What if you still had a blue chest, but the pants from curator but also had enough points for the S3 chest? Right now I have over 100 badges, maybe 110-120. Trying to decide if I should get the S3 chest then use the badges for neck, bracers and eventually pants or get the SSO neck, bracers and new badges chest.

I looked at all the badge items and didn't see anything I liked? Did I miss anything?

The World of Warcraft Armory (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Lightning%27s+Blade&n=Kam%C3%ADsama)

I guess the chest could be an upgrade but we're killing Illidan every week and I'll get the first warrior chest that drops. 3 kills and still hasn't dropped one :(

I had 400 badges in bank so I bought all the tanking pieces.

My former chest was the S3 chest gemmed with 12sta. I was pretty satisfied with it: nice armor, hit, crit, huge hp.

I know, this is not intended for use in pve events so I decided to wear the Chestplate of Stoicism. My problem is with enchant/gem....the socket bonus is 3 stam, red: so should I put a blue 12sta gem (thus loosing the bonus) or should I put a red gem?

I think I can keep S3 chest for tanking trash mobs, so should I change the gems on it (if yes, what gems would you put in?)?

How should I enchant/gem my Chest of SToicism? putting a 12 sta gem will remove the 3stam bonus...maybe I should put a 150hp enchant? Help me I can't sleep :)

I just asked this same question (http://www.tankspot.com/forums/armory-ratings-suggestions/36625-t4-chest-badge-chest-neither.html#post72168)...I hope one of us gets and answer.

The new badge gear is not so much for people who farm T6.

I picked up the chest to wear over my Glory of the Defender if our resident Boomkin is in the raid. Imp FF puts me over the hit cap, so this lets me pick up some SBV without losing much on the hit front.

I have the Lvl3 BS Chest so I was excited to get the chest with the higher tanking stats. I regemmed & enchanted the BS chest for Hit + stam so I wear that as part of my aggro set.

With the new pants its less of an issue, but for a long while I had to wear the Hydros Trinket just to get my Def > 490 --- didnt like having my trinket choices forced.
