Too much Crit?

Is it possible to have too much crit for PVE DPS?

Is there a crit number that an Arms warrior should achieve and then worry more about other stats?

I really want to go sword, but have not been lucky with drops. So, I currently use the Glaive of the Pit and have been thinking about the new 2.4 Axe. With the new Axe I will hit 37.5% crit unbuffed, with 1850-1900AP and 142 hit, when I pull my gear together correctly. Is that too much crit? Should I focus more on getting AP up higher?

If you can trade Crit rating for Strength 1 for 1, it would be good to do so. (So for example, you should gem 8 str in red, 4str 4 crit in yellow, 4 str/6stam in blue).

At that gear level Str will give you more dps than 1 crit rating.

Dont get rid of a higher level item with good crit for a lower level item with more Str or AP though. Go to maxdps.com, put in your stats, and see what comes out as the best items for you.
