PvP gear for future PvE

Hi all,

I'm in a guild that is slowly getting people keyed for Kara. I assume it will be another couple months before we go. In the meantime, I'm very busy with RL and don't have time to do a heroic daily so I'm PvPing in BGs.

When looking at the S1 gear, is there any that will help me when I ultimately go to Kara?

Shoulders if you don't have Bold or Heroic Sethekk shoulders. It has no def, though, so you'll need to get it elsewhere.

S1 Shield is also something worth getting.

The trinket provides utility when fighting the Opera guys that ice block, but this is a pretty low priority.

All the PVP gear is good for Shade fight, and any fights where you're not tanking (our guild has me MT for most fights in Kara, but we normally use a feral druid OT who MTs Prince, while I DPS)
