View Full Version : Ridiculous question - Cruelty vs. Mace/Intercept

I'm fully aware of the ridiculousness of this.

At the moment, I'm pushing 1636 block value self-buffed. I wanted to grab a good movie w/ a 10k shield slam before the 10% meta gem comes out next patch, so I respecced to a Deathwish/Impale/Shield Slam build.

However, I do tend to take the builds somewhat seriously, and I'm not a terrible pvper, so I'm still evaluating the best course for the last six talent points.

Here's the current build:
WorldofWarcraft.com -> Info -> Classes -> Warrior -> Talent Calculator (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warrior/talents.html?3500132130201000000000000000000000000 00000002305511033000113501000)

Options:
5/5 Cruelty, 1/3 Focused Rage w/ Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker
4/5 Mace Stun, 2/2 Improved Intercept w/ Swiftsteel Bludgeon

The real decision is Cruelty or Improved Intercept. I appreciate the stuns, but it's the Intercept cooldown that I love when PVP'ing, and I can no longer get it in a prot pvp build with cruelty.

I'm enlisting the opinions of our Arms Warriors here. Thoughts?

When i play in Prot PvP spec , i take 4/5 Mace Stun, 2/2 Improved Intercept with my Mallet of Tides .
The Imp Intercept with +bonus (-5s ) is a very benefit talent for PvP

Don't forget , if u run with a ThunderFury (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19019) u got a +5000 aggro on each player ;)

I'd say Mace Spec and Imp Intercept.

Additionally, I may be crazy, but I love Imp Charge for PvP; it's a nice little leg-up at the OOC start of a fight at the cost of Imp TC. Hmm, I do recall Imp TC being great for Evasion'd rogues at 2% health. :D

I'd go with intercept as well.

Imp Intercept is pretty godly for PVP, so I'd say go with that.

intercept. 5% more crit don't mean squat if you can't catch up to the fecker.
